This website is both the culmination and expression of over three years of nearly constant activity, research and sheer persistence.

Like all geneological research, it is a work in progress representing the best currently available information.

In conjunction with Ancestry.com, Find-a-grave.com and much time in county libraries, genealogical societies and cemeteries throughout the region, this website records a journey through personal history that nearly everyone can take, but surprisingly few are willing to travel.
